Some punny fun!

I loved this little truck from justjohanna's last release, but I was having a hard time figuring out how to use it for Valentine's Day. Just by coincidence, I had a spare epoxy from Creative Imaginations sitting on my desk. It said "Lovestruck" and I said, "Eureeka!"

So here are two "Love's Truck" cards, both featuring justjohanna's work van.
The bottom card also has the paisley heart stamp and the xoxo stamp (the road).

I pieced the top card and used my Prismacolor markers to add color here and there. The bottom card was colored with Prismacolor pencils and pastel chalk for the sky. I used the wonderful Uniball Signo Silver pen for the bumpers, hub caps, wing mirrors, and grills for both trucks.

Mmmm. Coffee!

I love this paper from Flair Designs because I love coffee and I love caffeine! The paper did have the word "decaffeinated" on it, but I covered it up with the lovely textured Daisy Bucket stripe!

The coffee mug, sleeper bird, and birthday flourish stamps are by justjohanna.

Yay! A great deal on some great stamps!

Check out this great package deal on some ever-so-cute justjohanna stamps!

Here are two of my cards that used stamps from this special offer! The wings are shimmery thanks to Twinklin' H20s and/or Stickles. I sure do love my glitter!

Feeling blue?

College applications are all in. Acceptances are arriving in the form of *big envelopes*. Thankfully, there have not been any *small envelopes* yet. All this makes me realize that in less than 9 months, the teenager will be embarking on a new phase in her life and declaring her independence. While it's all very exciting, it's poignant as well.

All stamped images with the exception of the ampersand (PSX) are by justjohanna and are sophie, fancy tail, stamping mathilda alphabet, and the "spread your wings" sentiment. Versafine ink was used to stamp the images and ink the Cuttlebug-embossed swirls. Glimmer Mist made the BossKut flourishes sparkly, but you can't tell from the scan. Oh well.

Bad blogger. *sigh*

It's mid-January already and I've only posted once on my blog. That makes me a very bad blogger. Sheesh. Time flies.

The holidays are behind us, so my thoughts have turned to Valentine's Day, though not because we celebrate it in a big way, but more because everywhere I look, all I see are red hearts and cupids.

The scan didn't like the bulk caused by the ribbon. The stamps on this card are from justjohanna. The bitty heart is a Stickles covered mini heart punchie. The paper is from Creative Imaginations. I really like this patterned paper since it's reversible. I used both sides of one sheet. I love the red, black, and white color combo.

Newsflash: The teenager now has a choice in colleges as she received another *big envelope*. Yay.
